At St Edward’s our vision is “One family; we CARE’ which underpins the curriculum that we provide including our wonderful F1 pupils. We believe that all our children are unique and aspire for them to live their life to the fullest in a safe and secure way. We opened our nursery (F1) provision in September 2020 and have thrived since.
They spend their days sharing, talking, singing, problem solving, being playful and questioning the world in which they live.
Across the ELG (Early Learning Goals)
Through play, they practice new skills, investigate the world around them and challenge themselves to succeed. Our team of expert practitioners nurture the children’s character, building the foundations of confidence, resilience and a love of learning.
Our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit is open between 8.45am and 3.45pm. During this time parents and carers may access up to 30 hours of free entitlement for Nursery aged (F1) children, if they meet the entitlement criteria.
Children may order a school lunch at a charge of £2.50 per day or bring a packed lunch if their time falls during a lunch period.
In addition to the free entitlement parents and carers may book Nursery Childcare within our Foundation Stage at a charge of £4.25 per hour.
