What support is in place for children with SEND at St Edward's?

Each child's individual needs are considered in order to provide the best programme of support for your child, therefore each individual package of support may look a little different. Some of the things that may be in place for your child are:

  • My Plan/ EHCP Implementation Plan (Individual targeted plans)
  • Regular meetings with your child's class teacher to review your child's support and progress.
  •  Targeted small group/ 1-to-1 interventions
  • Additional adult support
  • Visual aids, task lists, structured rotuines
  • Use of assistive technology (laptop, communicative aids)
  • Advice from external expertise (Educational psychologist, therapist, occupational therapist)
  • Emotional and wellbeing support
